Hot tub — please read first

The cedar hot tub is the heart of the stay, and a little care keeps it safe and lovely for everyone.

  • Limit soaks to 15–20 minutes, especially in hot weather. Step out if you feel light-headed.
  • Do not use the hot tub if you are pregnant, have heart conditions, or have consumed alcohol or medication that causes drowsiness — when in doubt, ask your doctor.
  • No diving, jumping, or rough play. The surround can be slippery — move slowly.
  • Replace the cover after each use to retain heat and keep debris out.
  • Report any concern with temperature or water clarity to your host right away.

Local favourites

  • The Bench Market — the area's favourite brunch; go early on weekends.
  • Local Lounge & Grille — lakefront patio dining, 18 minutes away.
  • True Grain Bread & Summerland Sweets — perfect for stocking the kitchen.

Outdoors

  • Sun-Oka Beach — the best swimming beach, 7 minutes away.
  • Kettle Valley Rail Trail — gentle cycling over historic trestles.
  • Apex Mountain — closest ski resort, 50 minutes in winter.

Before you go

  • Check-out is 11:00 AM — message us if you'd like to ask about a later time.
  • Start the dishwasher or wash up, and pop rubbish/recycling in the outdoor bins.
  • Replace the hot tub cover and switch off any patio heaters.
  • Close windows, set the thermostat to 18°C, and return the key to the lockbox.
  • Travel safe — and if you loved it, a review means the world to a small host.
